1. Focus group sessions with museum reproductions at care sites
2. Museum Tours (in person)
3. Hands-On Expressive art & creative writing sessions at care sites
4. Final Art Gallery Celebrations
This model is designed to build meaningful, ongoing and in-depth connections between older adults and the art & culture communities in which they live. This allows individuals to Re-Member their place in the larger community. Continuous arts exchanges embed the experience in emotional and procedural memory which affirms sense of self and fosters well being.

RESEARCH RESULTS: IN THEIR OWN WORDS
- All who responded said that they enjoyed the program and derived pleasure from the experience
- All who responded recommended the program to others
- In the WORDS of participants, the art conversations and artistic expressive sessions offered mind stimulation, a chance to learn, offer opinions, enjoyment, a chance to talk and get to know one another better, decreased time alone, a shared experience, memorable visual imagery
- Based on the responses, there was an observable impact of the experience on the day and on overall well being. Some respondents described they felt happier, built up from the experience, able to see things with a fresh eye, reached out for more, had lowered blood pressure, a positive calming influence, felt lifted, brought back happy memories, cheered up.
